Your voice is one of the most powerful tools that you have. Your thoughts, opinions and feelings are valid and the key to shaping your life, your environment and the community around you. We would like to support you to feel even more empowered to recognise the value of your voice and use it as a tool for positive change. We would also like you to use your voice to help us to shape and evaluate the work that ThinkHigher does so we can ensure that we are delivering the best opportunities for all .

What is it? It is a two strand project collecting ThinkHigher participant feedback to review and evaluate our work as well as empowering young people, families and communities to appreciate the power of their voice and use this power collectively to impact their wider environments, thus creating a dynamic, engaging and cohesive service for young people and the wider community. ‘The Voice’ aspect will see the distribution of feedback forms and questionnaires to previous ThinkHigher participants, guardians, stakeholders and partners to review their experience, insights and feedback which will support our evaluation of the programme and help us to shape future activities.
The Voice: Stop.Collaborate&Listen How many times have you voiced your opinion and someone has agreed with you? How many times have you voiced your opinion and someone has disagreed with you? Have you ever made a suggestion to someone and they have taken it onboard? Have you ever made a suggestion to someone and they have not taken it onboard, but instead worked with you to develop your idea into something even better? How does it feel when these things happen? If you like the feeling of people valuing your opinion or acting on your suggestions and you are able to respect people even when they disagree with you or are able to work with others to add ideas together and create positive actions then The Voice: Stop.Collaborate&Listen is for you! This is an additional project aimed at bringing the ThinkHigher community even closer together to increase engagement in existing learner voice programmes and local democratic processes to create positive actions. Get involved today!
Engagement: Getting involved To get involved is easy, just talk to a member of the ThinkHigher team to provide your feedback, ideas, opinions and suggestions. You can look out for The Voice events to meet other people who wish to use their voice to have a positive impact in their communities or even join our upcoming online forum which is regulated by ThinkHigher staff to monitor, manage and facilitate your ideas to flourish
We are looking for anyone (young people, parents, carers and staff) who is interested in using their voice to create positive changes. If you are interested in this project please contact Jo at Joanne.Gaffney@warwick.ac.uk to get involved.
